In criminal law, I served both as the Lee County Public Defender and as the Lee County State's Attorney.  I've tried approximately 80 criminal jury trials and hundreds of bench trials and other hearings.  I am very familiar with local prosecutors and Judges.. In family law, I've been practicing in this area since 1994 when I was with Jenner & Block, a large nationwide firm, in Chicago.  I handle divorce, custody, support, adoption, post-decree cases, contempt cases, removal petitions and all other family law related matters..
