Chris Steffens was born in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He grew up on a ranch just outside Belle Plaine, Kansas. Chris graduated from The University of Kansas where he earned two Bachelors degrees in History and Economics.. Upon graduating from the University of Kansas, Chris attended Washburn University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in May 2005.
