Wendell has practiced bankruptcy most of his career and it remains his driving passion. In the past, he has represented bankruptcy trustees and creditors, in large cases and small. Today he represents consumers and small businesspeople who need bankruptcy or debt negotiations to get back into control of their financial lives.. He has written and testified in favor of legislation that Missouri has adopted to help consumers protect themselves better when they go into bankruptcy. He serves on local rules committees regularly. And he is currently the Eastern District of Missouri State Chair for the National Assoc. of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.. He is married to Rebecca, who works with him. They have a canine child named Romeo. Yes, they are "dog people."
