During law school I was employed as a Deputy Clerk, Auditor and Bailiff in the Probate Court of Jackson County Missouri. During my two years working in the Probate Court, I learned the importance of good estate planning. I also learned the basics of trying a case before the Probate Court. After law school I worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles Shangler in the Missouri Western District Court of Appeals where I honed my skills as a legal writer..
