Alicia S. May grew up in Bozeman, Montana and attended Montana State University in her hometown for her undergraduate degree. Alicia earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, with minors in English Literature and Gender Studies, and graduated with honors. Alicia then moved to Nevada to pursue her legal career. She attended the William S. Boyd School of Law in the evening program while employed as a paralegal and, later, a law clerk during the day. In 2016, Alicia received her J.D. and passed the Nevada Bar Exam, becoming a member of the State Bar of Nevada..
