Location: New Mexico Three years ago I was arrested for a DUI and I have a misdemeanor (because of me completing all requirements I believe it is technically expunged- in some way, it has not come up on three pre-employment background checks since, they were not related to driving, however). I found out about 2 years ago that my body cam footage was uploaded online by a couple of body cam websites. I know it is perfectly legal unfortunately but it is the first thing that comes up when my name is searched and I have an extremely uncommon name (one in the United States most likely one in the world). Is there nothing that can be done about removal of these videos or any type of lawyer I should consult with?

LOCATION: ALBUQUERQUE NM My ex spouse and I have been separated since July of 2022. We have no children or shared assets. I could not locate him until about 6 months ago while emptying my Gmail spam folder I saw that he had emailed me asking if we could officially divorce. He like myself want to legally divorce as we have not been involved financially or physically for over 4 years. I pay for a legal service through my corporate job. They essentially prepared uncontested divorce paperwork for me. It was through a law firm in Albuquerque. No lawyer involved just preparation of paperwork. I want to make sure I have everything I need. Paperwork asked about balances of bank account and other financial balances. Do I need to bring pages of accounts? Do they just have to be named? We have no joint accounts or assets. Since the firm only prepares im unsure if I have everything I need to file. The woman I was in a tread with at the firm was kind of mean and most unhelpful. Statements have been notarized just dont want to get a rejection when taking the documents to court on Monday. Any guidance would be most appreciated.

Location: New Mexico, United States To be clear, I am not the one getting sued. My best friend (Harper, 25NB) and my current roommate Jackson (27 FtM) are/were. Almost 7 years ago they had moved into what can only be called a slum house, and after a few months they broke the lease due to the living conditions being outright terrible (the landlord refused to fix the AC during the summer time, as an example but there were many other things). They had both been given the poor advice that if they simply ignored the debt they owed the leasing company, the debt would simply go away after the derogatory mark on their credit decayed. The leasing company apparently sold the debt to a debt collection agency after Harper threatened to sue them for the illegal living conditions of the property, and after that neither Harper or Jackson really heard anything about the debt for years. Until a few months ago. Harper received a notice in the mail that they were getting sued by the collection agency alongside Jackson. At the time, Jackson lived out of state and had not updated his address at all. So we are guessing that the agency was unable to find him to serve him his court papers. Harper has been handling the lawsuit entirely on their own, and after some phone calls to the agency, they reached a settlement agreement. Location: New Mexico Pretty incredible set of facts, and maybe the easiest dismissal in the history of the prosecutors office. Anyways: In July of last year, we moved to New Mexico and duly registered our vehicles. At that time, a vanity plate was ordered for my wife, with the instructions from the MVD that, "If the requested plate is available, we will send it, otherwise we wont". The post office subsequently did not deliver our mail for about two months due to an internal mix up. This was discovered about 9 months later, and undelivered mail was handed to us including our vanity plate, registration, and sticker. As luck would have it, a few days later my wife was stopped while driving for improper registration / false plate, which due to the length of time was written up as a felony charge. My wife was about to be arrested and the car towed, based on a hysterical call from her. I raced to the scene with the correct documents, and my wife was released on scene. The officer noted the ticket, to "dismiss upon presentation of documents", basically, a fixit ticket, but as the citation was already written, it had to be dealt with through the court. Went to the court to request dismissal, but the clerks could not dismiss as with regular fixit ticket as felony tickets are not eligible for dismissal in that way -- only the judge or prosecutor can do that.
