He has been an active volunteer Arbitrator at the Richmond County Civil Court, Small Claims Part, where he was found hearing cases Friday mornings or Thursday nights, once or twice per month for fifteen years from 2005 - 2020 (until COVID-19). Mr. Weinman is also the last original founding board member of New World Preparatory Charter School (NWP) still sitting on that Board.  NWP was Staten Island's first charter middle school, which opened its doors on September 8, 2010. As of 2020, NWP also offers K-5 classes.. In September 2019, Mr. Weinman became a Real Estate Instructor, certified by the New York State Department of State, qualified to teach classes to Realtors.. Aside from trying to spend as much time as possible with his wife, Darlene, and their four children, Mr. Weinman, a vegetarian, enjoys riding his motorcycle and running; he has run every NYC Marathon since the year 2000 (21 total), usually finishing in around five hours.
