This, while challenging and interesting, was not where his passion lay and he eventually left to accept a position at Arnold & Itkin in 2007; he later became a partner in 2011.. I was born in Washington, D.C., and spent the first 10 years of my life on the east coast before moving to Texas in 1990. We settled in League City, Texas, where I went to elementary through high school before attending the University of Texas at Austin. In 2002, I finished my undergraduate education at Baylor University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations. In 2006, I obtained my J.D. from the University of Tulsa and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2007.. My loving and beautiful wife, Jill, is a talented physical therapist. We moved to Austin for the rich history, scenic views, and beautiful weather and enjoy how active and alive the city is. We spend our free time running around Town Lake, checking out the local music and arts scene, and enjoying the local parks and lakes. Golf, barbeques, and watching football are my favorite pastimes.. Being able to represent individuals who have suffered an injury or other loss as a result of the irresponsibility of another was my motivation for going to law school. I love what I do and take pride in the fact that my education and efforts are used for the betterment of our society, for the protection of our laws, and for maintaining the integrity of our civility.

Except for two military deployments to Iraq in 2005 and Afghanistan in 2011, I have lived in Austin, Texas since 1997. A native of Virginia, I mostly lived in California, Japan, and Virginia after joining the Marine Corps before finally finding my home in Texas.. I earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Saint Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio and I’m now a Family Law attorney working out of down town Austin, a block from the court house.. In the Marines, I served with an A-6 Intruder squadron as the maintenance control officer, and later did the same with F/A-18D Hornets. I was the Adjutant for Officer Candidate’s school before leaving active duty to begin working as a manufacturing engineer for Apple Computer and Dell Computer.. When the recent war started up, I rejoined the Marine Reserves and served with a reconnaissance battalion and two different Marine Infantry battalions. I’m currently serving as the Communications Officer for Combat Logistics Regiment 4 for a weekend each month and for two weeks in the summer.. I am married to a lady who hailed from Dallas, Elizabeth Rentner, and together we have one daughter, who has me completely wrapped around her little finger. As it should be.
