Location: Washington I posted once about this situation but am looking for different advice, there are pics on my account of the injury and the lid Saturday around 5:56pm I was walking under a little shaded area with two trees some rocks and a metal lid cover. I stepped forward to reach for something and suddenly found myself plummeting into a 3 and half foot who with bricks and a sprinkler control system at the bottom. My soon to be roommate had to stand on the other end of the lid so I so slowly raise myself up. It scrapped my leg on both sides and bruised it intensely. It was after hours of the office being called and I was more worried about stopping any bleeding and seeing what the damage was. I called emergency maintenance around 9-10 am Sunday, it went to voice mail. I was able to get the attention of some maintenance worker the next morning and told them personally what happened and they closed it up later that day. Minutes after it happened I pulled my phone out, explained what happened and got a my roommate as my witness confirm that she saw it while treating me with first aid. I took a video of me walking up to the lid which is now completely open so someone doesn't make the same mistake and get hurt that way.
