Practice Areas: Personal Injury, Car Accident, Trucking Accident, Motorcycle Accident, Wrongful Death
Thomas Edmund Jacobs is highly rated and recommended by his past clients. Free consultation!. The law firm of Jacobs and Jacobs was founded in Puyallup Washington in 1893. Since that time, we have represented thousands of Accident and Injury victims throughout the Puget Sound Region and all of Washington State. The majority of these accident and injury cases were fairly settled outside of court. If you or a loved one has been hurt in an accident, or suffered injuries, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by consulting with our experienced accident and injury attorneys. We make it our priority to fairly represent you to secure fair compensation for your injuries.. B. F Jacobs began our firm in 1893. With the exception of a tour duty during WWI when B.F Jacobs served as a troopship navigator, and during WW2 when Edmond F. Jacobs served as a PT boat captain, the Jacobs family has offered legal services to Puget Sound for over 100 years. The attorneys currently practicing at Jacobs & Jacobs have a combined 88 years of experience handling and litigating accident and injury claims in Western Washington.. Our firm is currently handling more personal injury cases than any other law practice in Pierce County. Tom Jacobs was voted as one of seven trustees of the Pierce County Bar Association by approximately 1500 colleagues. He has handled hundreds of accident and injury trials and arbitration hearings during his 40 years of practicing law.. We take pride in representing clients with small claims as well as large claims, such as fatalities and permanent injuries. Our staff is trained to handle all sizes of cases with equal attention to detail, all while using a compassionate approach to each case. Our number one goal for our clients is to get the care needed to make a full recovery and to be fully compensated for their injuries. We do this by working in unison with our client’s treatment providers so as to get the best medical care possible in hopes for a full recovery. We want our clients to focus on getting the medical attention needed to get their lives back to normal while not having to worry about the insurance companies harassing them. These, and other principles have allowed us to obtain over 113 million dollars for our clients just in the last 5 years and a far greater number since 1893 when B.F. Jacobs started our firm.

Talis graduated with his B.A. from the University of Washington (the third of four generations of Husky grads!) and earned his law degree at Seattle University School of Law. In addition to wrongful death and personal injury matters, Talis represents families across the nation in high profile wrongful death lawsuits against those who profit from adulterated supplements like kratom. He also represents those who have been poisoned by defective metal on metal hip products like those manufactured by Zimmer Biomet and Johnson & Johnson.. Talis began his legal career in the Washington State Attorney General’s office and served as Assistant Attorney General for the State for 14 years. As an AAG, Talis’ work included authoring multiple briefs involving civil rights before the United States Supreme Court, including a successful petition for certiorari and an amicus brief that was joined by 16 other states.. Over the years, Talis has successfully helped many Washington families find peace after tragedy. He represents survivors struggling with the wrongful death of a loved one, and he works tirelessly to get his personal injury clients the highest amount of compensation possible. Steven D. Weier: Attorney / CPA. AWARD WINNING PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY:. See Reviews and Awards section for more details.. Direct contact:. Steven Weier received his BA in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics in 1985. After working in corporate management for a number of years, he passed the Uniform CPA exam in 1987. Steven attended lawschool at the University of Puget Sound and graduated in 1992. After passing the Washington State Bar Exam on the first try, Steven spent several years gaining valuable experience in public accounting and then later in personal injury litigation. Following several years as a litigator for a downtown Seattle personal injury firm. Steven opened his own practice in Auburn in 1997 and then expanded to a larger office space in Tukwila in 2013. Wanting to focus on customer relations and customer service, Steven founded the practice on the simple guiding principle: “Do the Right thing, Always.” Starting out as a one-man firm, Steven’s enthusiasm and willingness to represent the “little guy” quickly established the firm in the south King County area. With no advertising budget, the firm grew by word of mouth and referrals. Still growing, the firm clings to the original focus that customer service is of prime importance. Going the extra mile is still the norm, and each of our clients is treated with respect and personal worth.. Steven’s willingness to take cases to trial, even small cases, has earned him a reputation as a serious litigator. With an attitude that every case is treated like our biggest case, Steven has attained an exceptionally high win-rate in trial. That willingness to take all our cases seriously extends throughout the whole firm. With a tell-it-like-it-is approach, Steven Weier gives his clients the real picture of the case, and assists them in making the best possible choices for their particular situation.. Managing a state-of-the-art firm and keeping up with technology helps keep the firm efficient and growing. With his “every client should feel like they are our most important client” attitude, it is easy to see why clients refer their friends and family to him. Steven believes that leading by example is one of the basic foundations of good management. His firm is an extension of his core beliefs and that basic guiding principle: “Do the Right Thing, Always.” Down to earth and honest, the best way to evaluate his firm is to meet him through a no-charge consultation.
