Official statutory text
The duties of the county superintendent of schools having jurisdiction of a school district election or community college district election shall be:
(a) To call elections when ordered under the provisions of this code.
(b) To prepare recommendations, statements, or arguments for any election in which they are required, as provided in this code.
(c) To receive petitions as authorized by this code.
