Official statutory text

Brands for swine may be recorded pursuant to the same provisions and procedures as are made applicable to the recording of brands for cattle in Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 20601) of Division 10 of this code, except Section 20668. Such recording, however, is not mandatory.
