Official statutory text
(a) The provisions of Section 5938 shall not be applicable to dams constructed in District 4 1/2 after September 9, 1953.
(b) No permit or license to appropriate water in District 4 1/2 shall be issued by the State Water Resources Control Board after September 9, 1953, unless conditioned upon full compliance with Section 5937.
(c) Plans and specifications for any dam described in subdivision (a) shall not be approved by the Department of Water Resources unless adequate provision is made for full compliance with Section 5937.
