Official statutory text

The committeee shall have authority to appoint and fix the salary of such professional and other employees as may be necessary. Funds for the support of the committee shall be provided from the Contingent Funds of the Assembly and Senate in the same manner that such funds are made available to other joint committees of the Legislature.
