Official statutory text
(a) A complaint made by an enrollee to a health care service plan about a delay or denial of a payment of a claim shall be treated as a grievance subject to Section 1368 whether or not the enrollee uses the term “grievance” as part of the complaint. This section does not apply to specialized health care service plans.
