Official statutory text
After introduction of the ordinance, resolution, or order fixing the rate, and before it is finally enacted, notice of the hearing, setting forth the proposed schedule of rates shall be given by one publication in a newspaper published in the district, if there is such a newspaper, but otherwise in a newspaper having general circulation in the district. The notice shall be published at least ten days before the date fixed in the notice for the hearing. The hearing may be adjourned from time to time.
