Official statutory text
The governing body of the city or county may appropriate and expend funds for the improvement, operation, expansion and support of any such art gallery or museum, and shall have, in addition to the powers specified in this article, the same powers in respect thereto that a county board of supervisors has in respect to a county museum under the provisions of Article 2 of this chapter.
