Official statutory text
Notwithstanding Sections 53091 and 53094 of the Government Code, nor any zoning override which may have been previously exercised pursuant thereto by a school district, whenever the district leases or has leased, mortgages or has mortgaged, sells or has sold, or otherwise disposes or has disposed of real property to the school district which was acquired from private owners, the city, whether general law or charter, in which such land is located, or county, in unincorporated areas, shall retain zoning and permit powers.
