Official statutory text

(a) All holders of certificates issued under this section shall operate from a service area to be determined by the commission. In no case shall this area encompass more than a radius of 125 air miles from the home terminal. The home terminal shall be designated by the applicant. This certificate shall be classified as a class B certificate. This section shall not apply to certificates subject to Section 5371.1.

(b) The restriction on a service area imposed by subdivision (a) does not apply to the holder of a class B certificate if that person is providing charter bus transportation as defined in subdivision (b) of Section 5363.
