Official statutory text
The department may agree in a contract with a state agency or department of a state agency that payments to be made under a contract for joint development of water conveyance and hydroelectric facilities on the west branch of the California Aqueduct shall be made only from funds under the management and control of the state agency or department of a state agency derived from revenues from the sale of electric energy and are not to be made from funds derived from the levy of taxes upon taxable property within the state agency. The provisions of Sections 11652 to 11655, inclusive, shall not be applicable to contracts containing such a provision.
