Official statutory text
(a) The Legislature finds and declares that this chapter furthers important state policies of encouraging water conservation and protecting water resources in the interest of the people and for the public welfare.
(b) For the purposes of this chapter, “urban retail water supplier” has the same meaning as provided in Section 10608.12.
