Official statutory text

All money collected upon sales or otherwise shall be paid to the county treasurer of the county in which the land is situated, and the money, together with all other money collected by the county treasurer shall, within one month after its receipt by the county treasurer, be by him deposited in the State Treasury to the credit of the drainage district in a fund which is continued in existence and known as the Sacramento and San Joaquin Drainage District Fund, specifying the name and number of the assessment from which the money was derived.
