Official statutory text
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any person who is not required, but who volunteers, to participate in the program established by this article and fails to appear for a scheduled appointment prior to entering into the welfare-to-work plan shall be deemed to not be subject to the requirements of this article and the conciliation efforts and sanction requirements established under Sections 11327.4 and 11327.5 shall not apply.
