Official statutory text

County GAIN programs shall cooperate with the department and the State Department of Education in the provision and coordination of services under the New Chance Program at program sites. To the extent consistent with the county plan adopted pursuant to Section 11320.2, county programs shall provide supportive services, and, if not available from other sources, education and training services, to teenage parents who participate in the New Chance Program. These services shall be administered in a manner which is consistent with services provided under the New Chance Program at program sites.
