Sec. 10-150c. Authority to develop standards and proposals for regulations and legislation re educator preparation and certification. Review and approval.

(b) (1) Any such standard or proposal developed by the Connecticut Educator Preparation and Certification Board shall be submitted to the State Board of Education for review. The State Board of Education shall approve or reject any such standard or proposal not later than sixty days after receipt of such standard or proposal. If such standard or proposal is approved, such standard or proposal shall be implemented.
(2) Any such standard or proposal developed by the State Board of Education shall be submitted to the Connecticut Educator Preparation and Certification Board for review. The Connecticut Educator Preparation and Certification Board shall approve or reject any such standard or proposal not later than sixty days after receipt of such standard or proposal. If such standard or proposal is approved, such standard or proposal shall be implemented.
(3) If such approved proposal is for regulations, the State Board of Education shall adopt regulations consistent with such approved proposal in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54.
(4) If such approved proposal is for legislation, such approved proposal shall be submitted to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a .
(2) Any such standard or proposal developed by the State Board of Education shall be submitted to the Connecticut Educator Preparation and Certification Board for review. The Connecticut Educator Preparation and Certification Board shall approve or reject any such standard or proposal not later than sixty days after receipt of such standard or proposal. If such standard or proposal is approved, such standard or proposal shall be implemented.
(3) If such approved proposal is for regulations, the State Board of Education shall adopt regulations consistent with such approved proposal in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54.
