§ Â 384. âAppropriate authorityâ; Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families [Effective until enactment of the new Compact by 35 states and upon promulgation of rules by the Interstate Commission].
Official statutory text
As used in paragraph (a) of Article V of this Compact, the phrase “appropriate authority in the receiving state” shall, with reference to this State, mean the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families.
