§ 8-103.09c. Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Fund.

Official statutory text

(a) There is established as a special fund the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Fund ("Fund"), which shall be administered by the Director of the Department of Energy and Environment in accordance with subsection (c) of this section.
(b) Revenue collected under this subchapter from the Department of Energy and Environment's review of construction plans for erosion and sediment control shall be deposited in the Fund.
(c) Money in the Fund shall be used for the purposes of supporting and administering the soil erosion and sediment control programs of the Department of Energy and Environment.
(d) Any money remaining available in the Fund at the end of a fiscal year, as determined by the Chief Financial Officer in the fiscal year-end close, shall be transferred to the unassigned fund balance of the General Fund of the District of Columbia as part of the fiscal year-end close.
