28.245 Transmittal of funds to Department of Revenue; uniform remittance form required.
Official statutory text
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, all moneys collected by the clerks of the court as part of the clerk’s court-related functions for subsequent distribution to any state entity must be transmitted electronically, by the 10th day of the month immediately after the month in which the moneys are collected, to the Department of Revenue for appropriate distribution. A uniform remittance form provided by the Department of Revenue detailing the specific amounts due each fund must accompany such submittal. All moneys collected by the clerks of court for remittance to any entity must be distributed pursuant to the law in effect at the time of collection.
