20-201 DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTION CREATED.
Official statutory text
20-201. Department of correction created. There is hereby created the department of correction. The state board of correction, as outlined in section 5, article X of the constitution of the state of Idaho, shall control, direct, and manage the department of correction consistent with the constitution of the state of Idaho and as required by law. The department of correction shall, for the purposes of section 20, article IV of the constitution of the state of Idaho, be an executive department of state government.
