Education and treatment.

Official statutory text

The program shall include education initiatives and outreach to consumers, prescribing practitioners, and pharmacists, and shall also include assistance for identifying substance use disorder treatment programs and providers. The program shall also include educational updates and information on general patient risk factors for prescribing practitioners. The board shall adopt rules, as provided under section 124.554, to implement this section.
