Public policy

Official statutory text

It is the declared public policy of the state of Louisiana to encourage and to foster the development of financial institutions under a dual chartering system of the state and federal governments. In order to carry out this policy, the office of financial institutions is authorized and requested to use its resources in the promotion and development of the dual chartering system under the laws of Louisiana.
