Superconducting super collider ombudsman; appointment; reconciliation of grievances; request for review; response.

Official statutory text

Sec. 21.

The director of commerce shall appoint and be responsible for 1 or more individuals within 30 days of the effective date of this act to serve as the superconducting super collider ombudsman. The ombudsman may act on behalf of the state in attempting to reconcile grievances between the state and any person aggrieved by the planning, construction, or operation of the superconducting super collider.

Any person aggrieved pursuant to subsection (1) may submit a request to the ombudsman to review the grievance. The ombudsman shall respond within 7 days of the request.
