87-1-207 . Establishment of checking stations. (1) Pursuant to subsection (2), the department is authorized to establish checking stations when considered necessary to inspect licenses of hunters and anglers and to inspect any game animals, fish, or fur-bearing animals in the possession of hunters and anglers.
(2) The department shall provide notice to the county sheriff before establishing a checking station in that county.
