“Charitable promotion, service or activity” defined

Official statutory text

“ Charitable promotion, service or activity ” means an advertising or sales campaign conducted by a for-profit entity or business, which represents that the purchase of goods or services or participation in an activity will benefit, in whole or in part, a charitable organization, nonprofit organization or charitable purpose.
