Organization of council

Official statutory text

a. The council shall organize as soon as may be practicable after the appointment of its members and shall select a chairman from among its members and a secretary who need not be a member of the counciL. b. The Department of Human Services shall provide the council with such legal, stenographic, clerical and technical assistance as the council may require in order to perform its duties under this act. c. The council shall meet on a quarterly basis during each calendar year, but may at the discretion of the chairman hold additional meetings as deemed necessary to carry out its duties under this act.
