Related and supplemental instruction

Related and supplemental instruction for apprentices, co-ordination of instruction with job experience, and the selection of teachers and co-ordinators for such instruction shall be the responsibility of State and local vocational education boards. In accordance with statutory provisions, the State Department of Education shall be responsible for and provide related training as required by apprenticeship programs set up under this act. The State Apprenticeship Council may accept other related instruction facilities where vocational education related instruction facilities are not available or where registered apprenticeship programs designate other facilities for related instruction.
