Comprehensive report on the activities of the office of strategic workforce development

§ 100-b. Comprehensive report on the activities of the office of\nstrategic workforce development. Beginning on February first, two\nthousand twenty-four, and every February first thereafter, the\ndepartment shall prepare a comprehensive annual report on the activities\nand efficacy of the office of strategic workforce development. In\npreparing the report, the department shall coordinate with the\ndepartment of labor, the department of education, the state university\nof New York, the city university of New York, the office of temporary\nand disability assistance, the office of children and family services,\nthe urban development corporation and its subsidiaries, and any other\nrelevant agency or entity. Such report shall include, but need not be\nlimited to: aggregate totals for each economic development program\nadministered directly by the office of strategic workforce development,\nand aggregate totals for related programs in other agencies wherein such\nprogram funds are appropriated within the office of strategic workforce\ndevelopment, the number of awards made since the last report as well as\nthe number of awards made to date, the number of business partners\nsecured through such awards, the dollar total of such awards, regional\ndistribution of such awards, the identified statewide and regional\npriority sectors as identified by the urban development corporation with\ninput from the regional economic development councils including a\ndescription of each such sector, the number of trainees assisted through\nsuch awards, leveraged matching funds associated with awards, program\nparticipation rates, industry trends, and any other information deemed\nnecessary by the commissioner. The department shall prominently post the\ncomprehensive economic development report on its website no later than\nFebruary first of each year.\n
