§ 3609-h. Moneys apportioned to school districts for commercial gaming\ngrants pursuant to subdivision six of section ninety-seven-nnnn of the\nstate finance law, when and how payable commencing July first, two\nthousand fourteen. Notwithstanding the provisions of section thirty-six\nhundred nine-a of this part, apportionments payable pursuant to\nsubdivision six of section ninety-seven-nnnn of the state finance law\nshall be paid pursuant to this section. The definitions of "base year"\nand "current year" as set forth in subdivision one of section thirty-six\nhundred two of this part shall apply to this section.\n 1. The moneys apportioned by the commissioner to school districts\npursuant to subdivision six of section ninety-seven-nnnn of the state\nfinance law for the two thousand fourteen-two thousand fifteen school\nyear and thereafter shall be paid as a commercial gaming grant, as\ncomputed pursuant to such subdivision, as follows:\n a. For the two thousand fourteen--two thousand fifteen school year,\none hundred percent of such grant shall be paid on the same date as the\npayment computed pursuant to clause (v) of subparagraph three of\nparagraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred nine-a of\nthis article.\n b. For the two thousand fifteen--two thousand sixteen school year\nthrough the two thousand eighteen--two thousand nineteen school year,\nseventy percent of such grant shall be paid on the same date as the\npayment computed pursuant to clause (ii) of subparagraph three of\nparagraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred nine-a of\nthis article, and thirty percent of such grant shall be paid on the same\ndate as the payment computed pursuant to clause (v) of subparagraph\nthree of paragraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred\nnine-a of this article.\n c. For the two thousand nineteen--two thousand twenty school year and\nthereafter, one hundred percent of such grant shall be paid on the same\ndate as the payment computed pursuant to clause (ii) of subparagraph\nthree of paragraph b of subdivision one of section thirty-six hundred\nnine-a of this article.\n 2. Any payment to a school district pursuant to this section shall be\ngeneral receipts of the district and may be used for any lawful purpose\nof the district.\n
