§ 21-0716. Report and recommendations of department.\n The department shall submit to the governor and the legislature of\nthis state on or before the twenty-fifth day of January, nineteen\nhundred seventy-eight, and every year thereafter, a detailed examination\nand evaluation of the programs and activities of the commission as they\nrelate to New York state and shall make recommendations for any\nlegislative action deemed by the department advisable, including\namendments to the statutes of the signatory states which may be\nnecessary to carry out the intent and purposes of the compact.\n
