§ 54-1301. Long Island central pine barrens area planning.\n In order to further the purposes of article 57 of this chapter, the\ncommissioner shall provide, within amounts appropriated from the\nenvironmental protection fund, state assistance payments for the\npreparation of the comprehensive central pine barrens land use plan\npursuant to section 57-0121 of this chapter. State assistance payments\nmay be made to the central pine barrens joint planning and policy\ncommission established in article 57 of this chapter for all eligible\ncosts incurred after April first, nineteen hundred ninety-three. No\nmonies shall be expended for Long Island central pine barrens area\nplanning except pursuant to an appropriation therefor.\n
