§ 71-1725. Assessment of Penalties.\n The commissioner may assess any penalty prescribed for a violation of\nor a failure to comply with any provision contained in this title or\nlisted in section 71-1701, or any lawful notice, order or regulation\nprescribed by the commissioner under any such provision, one thousand\ndollars for every such violation or failure, which penalty may be\nassessed after a hearing or an opportunity to be heard.\n
