§ 71-2725. Disposition of penalties and fines.\n 1. a. All penalties and fines accumulated prior to April first,\nnineteen hundred eighty-eight, pursuant to sections 71-2705, 71-2721 and\n71-2723 of this title shall be paid over to the commissioner for deposit\nto the credit of the hazardous waste remedial fund established by\nsection ninety-seven-b of the state finance law.\n b. All penalties and fines collected pursuant to sections 71-2705,\n71-2721 and 71-2723 of this title shall be paid into the general fund to\nthe credit of the state purposes account.\n 2. All moneys collected in any action brought on behalf of the state\nfor damage resulting from improper or unlawful dissemination or disposal\nof hazardous wastes shall be paid over to the commissioner for deposit\nto the credit of the hazardous waste remedial fund established by\nsection ninety-seven-b of the state finance law.\n
