Official statutory text

§ 155. Office of fire prevention and control; creation; state fire\nadministrator; employees. There is hereby created in the division of\nhomeland security and emergency services an office of fire prevention\nand control. The head of such office shall be the state fire\nadministrator, who shall be appointed by the governor and shall hold\noffice during the pleasure of the governor. He shall receive an annual\nsalary to be fixed by the commissioner of the division of homeland\nsecurity and emergency services within the amount available by\nappropriation. He shall also be entitled to receive reimbursement for\nexpenses actually and necessarily incurred by him in the performance of\nhis duties within the amount available by appropriation.\n
