§ 209-k. Terms occurring in laws, contracts or other documents. Upon\nthe transfer pursuant to section two hundred nine-d of this article of\nthe functions and powers possessed by and all of the obligations and\nduties of the science and technology foundation as established pursuant\nto article ten-A of the public authorities law to the office as\nprescribed by section two hundred nine-d of this article, except as\notherwise provided in section two hundred nine-f of this article,\nwhenever the science and technology foundation and the chairperson\nthereof, the functions, powers, obligations and duties of which are\ntransferred to the office are referred to or designated in any law,\ncontract or document pertaining to the functions, powers, obligations\nand duties transferred and assigned pursuant to this article, such\nreference or designation shall be deemed to refer to the office and its\nexecutive director.\n
