§ 37. Statistical report of comptroller. The substance of the reports\nrequired by the provisions of this article shall be arranged by the\ncomptroller in such form as shall indicate the comparative receipts from\nthe various sources of revenue and the comparative costs of government\nin the municipal corporations, industrial development agency, districts,\nagencies and activities, and shall be published in an annual statement\nof comparative statistics for each type or class of municipal\ncorporation, industrial development agency, district, agency or\nactivity. Such statement shall be issued at the expense of the state as\na public document and shall be submitted by the comptroller to the\nlegislature at each regular session.\n
