New York wine/grape foundation

§ 2. New York wine/grape foundation. 1. There is hereby created a\nnon-profit corporation which shall be known as the "New York wine/grape\nfoundation". Such foundation shall be governed by the not-for-profit\ncorporation law except where such law conflicts with this act, in which\ncase the provisions of this act shall govern.\n 2. The foundation is created to fulfill the public purpose of\nproviding for an effective and continuous program of research, promotion\nand education to strengthen the New York wine and grape industry's\nposition in the marketplace including the maintenance and expansion of\ndomestic and foreign markets and uses for grapes grown and processed\nwithin the state.\n
