N.Y. PBA Law § 1051

§ 1051. Definitions. As used or referred to in this title, unless a\ndifferent meaning clearly appears from the context,\n 1. The term "district" shall mean the Erie county water authority\ndistrict created by section one thousand fifty-two of this title;\n 2. The term "authority" shall mean the corporation created by section\none thousand fifty-three of this title;\n 3. The term "county" shall mean the county of Erie;\n 4. The term "treasurer" shall mean the treasurer of the authority;\n 5. The term "comptroller" shall mean the comptroller of the state of\nNew York;\n 6. The term "personnel officer" shall mean the personnel officer of\nthe county of Erie;\n 7. The term "properties" shall mean the water supply and distribution\nsystem or systems of the authority, including the plants, works,\ninstrumentalities or parts thereof and appurtenances thereto, lands,\neasements, rights in land and water rights, rights-of-way, contract\nrights, franchises, approaches, connections, dams, reservoirs, water\nmains and pipe lines, pumping stations and equipment, or any other\nproperty, real, personal or mixed, incidental to and included in such\nsystem or part thereof, and any improvements, extensions and\nbetterments, situated within the county of Erie and any source of supply\nor water supply system or any part thereof, situated without the county\nof Erie;\n 8. The term "bonds" shall mean the bonds, notes and obligations,\nissued by the authority, pursuant to this act;\n 9. The term "revenues" shall mean all rents, charges and other income\nderived from the operation of the properties of the authority;\n 10. The term "municipality" shall mean a city, town, or village.\n
