§ 2585. Federal child care and adult food progam; establishment.\nThere is hereby established within the department the federal child care\nand adult food program for the purpose of providing nutritious meals to\nchildren and adults in or under the auspices of institutions providing\nday care. The commissioner is authorized to develop and submit the plan\nrequired for participation in the federal child care and adult food\nprogram (42 USCS § 1766). The commissioner is authorized to take any\naction necessary or consistent with federal law, rule and regulation, to\nimplement the provisions of this title.\n
