Funding for expansion of cancer services

§ 2807-r. Funding for expansion of cancer services. To the extent of\nfunds available therefor pursuant to section twenty-eight hundred\nseven-l of this article, the commissioner may allocate funds for\ncompetitive grants or reimbursement for the expansion of cancer services\ninto medically underserved or high need areas or medically underserved\npopulations, and for training programs for physicians and other\npractitioners from medically underserved areas to upgrade their training\nand education in relation to providing cancer education, detection and\ntreatment services in such areas.\n
