§ 2994-t. Regulations. 1. The commissioner shall establish such\nregulations as may be necessary to implement this article.\n 2. The commissioner, in consultation with the commissioners of the\noffice of mental health and the office for people with developmental\ndisabilities, shall promulgate regulations identifying the credentials\nof health care professionals qualified to provide an independent\ndetermination, pursuant to subdivision three of section twenty-nine\nhundred ninety-four-c of this article, that a patient lacks\ndecision-making capacity because of mental illness or developmental\ndisability.\n
